The Los Angeles City College Foundation (LACCF) fosters philanthropic support to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes for students at Los Angeles City College. By collaborating with donors and community partners, we provide essential student services and financial aid to increase college access and success for economically disadvantaged and historically underserved students.

Our History

Established in 1968, LACCF is the largest foundation in the Los Angeles Community College District, with net assets exceeding $50 million. As a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, we receive donations from individuals, corporations, and private foundations to support Los Angeles City College.

Our Mission

We are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating programs that drive change. By addressing students’ basic needs, including food, housing, utilities, transportation, and healthcare, we enable low-income students to enroll, persist, and succeed in their education at Los Angeles City College. Annually, we provide over one million dollars in scholarships, awards, book vouchers, emergency loans, and other financial support to help students excel in their academic endeavors.
