LACC Offers a Planned Giving Seminar

40 guests attended the Estate Planning Seminar at Los Angeles City College. Speakers from Pleiades, PNC Bank and Oakcrest Law Offices offered expert financial and legal advice for legacy planning. Attendees were led through various scenarios examining the tax and fiscal implications of each. The experts offered a crash course on trusts, wills and tax solutions. Celebrity examples were used to break down the do’s and do nots of estate planning.

Guests were presented with the many shapes that philanthropy from estate plans can take, including IRA designation, gifts of stock and life insurance bequests. Attendees were asked to consider including Los Angeles City College Foundation in their estate plans and were extended the opportunity for a free consultation with an advisor.
