Jerrod McClung is Managing Principal for JLM Advisory Group, LLC. He started his own firm in 2010, and advises both institutional and individual clients with their investment portfolios. Prior to LPL Financial, he worked at Wells Fargo, Northwestern Mutual, UBS and Merrill Lynch for over 17 years. At Merrill Lynch, he built the Corporate and Executive Services Group for the Southern California Region, a boutique within the firm that acted as liaison between the Investment Bank and Global Private Client Services, managing a team of investment professionals specializing in Corporate Stock Plans and Executive Compensation.

Mr. McClung enjoys serving his community, and has been actively involved with a number of different organizations. He served on the Board of Directors for the Foundation of La Jolla High School, and currently manages the investments for their Foundation, Endowment and Alumni Association. He served as co-Chair for APLA’s Ambassador Council, and is still actively involved in fundraising and events. He helped pioneer the Business Alliance Program for the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, and was President of their largest and most successful chapter. He was also Vice President of the National Association for Stock Plan Professionals in Los Angeles.

Mr. McClung attended UCLA and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a Specialization in Business and Administration. He enjoys traveling, competitive sports and spending time with his family and friends.
