Alumna Spotlight: Celebrating LACC Grad, Aylin Arias
LACCF proudly celebrates graduate, Aylin Arias, a first-generation Latina student whose determination, leadership, and passion are driving her toward an exciting future.
Aylin is currently attending UCLA, majoring in Communications with a minor in Public Relations, taking the next step toward her goal of becoming an executive director in communications and administration within the motorsport industry.
As the recipient of a $2,000 scholarship, Aylin shared how meaningful the support from LACCF was, stating “As a first-generation and full-time Latina student, your support meant more than words could express. It was not only a financial blessing, but a reminder that my hard work, dreams, and identity were seen, valued, and being invested in.”

Her passion for motorsports emerged through her involvement as an Executive of Administration for the nonprofit “Path 2 the Pits”, where she has helped host on-track career days and gained invaluable travel and networking opportunities with professional IndyCar teams such as McLaren and Andretti. These experiences have solidified her sense of belonging and clarified her career goals.
During her time at LACC, Aylin was also deeply involved in student government, developing strong skills in leadership, organization, and service. She credits the ASG community with helping shape her ambition and drive, and she plans to carry those lessons into her professional journey.
For Aylin, her achievements represent more than personal success, they honor the sacrifices of her parents and family. “When people say it takes a village,” she shares, “I see the truth in that every day.” LACC Foundation is proud to be part of Aylin’s village and we look forward to all she will accomplish next.
