Martha C. Esparza appointed Executive Director of the LACC Foundation!

The LACC Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Martha C. Esparza as the Foundation’s new Executive Director.

Martha has served as Associate Executive Director since rejoining the LACC Foundation in July 2025. Her return followed three years at the Cerritos College Foundation, where she held the roles of Senior Development Director and Interim Executive Director. Across her career, Martha has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing access to higher education through equity-focused and community-centered philanthropy.

A first-generation college graduate and the daughter of immigrants, Martha brings a deeply personal understanding of the transformative power of education. Her professional mission is rooted in expanding opportunities for students from historically underserved backgrounds. Known for her integrity, collaborative leadership style, and strategic approach, she is dedicated to aligning donor engagement with meaningful student success outcomes.

Martha is honored to continue her work with the LACC Foundation in this new role and to further its mission of empowering students through education.
